"The trip to the Farm was a gift that celebrates authentic learning beyond the classroom" - 5th grade teacher
Book your next science class on the Farm. Students learn how science plays a critical part in the daily operation of the farm and connect it to their own studies. Visit our eco-friendly farm in Sagaponack! During the 1.5 hour visit, students experience hands-on farm life, receive animal education, incorporate their science lesson plan and learn about sustainability. This is an incredible multi-sensory learning opportunity. The most popular part of the visit is interacting with our goats, sheep, chickens, horses, pigs, rabbits & Coco our donkey.
Customized lessons for students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade!

Testimonials:
"Our class had a magical trip to The Green School where we observed and learned about many different farm animals. Baskets were prepared with a variety of food for each class member to feed the animals. Spending time in this beautiful setting, with knowledgeable staff and friendly animals made for a wonderful learning experience!"
- Ms. Nancy Remkus, Kindergarten Teacher, Sag Harbor Elementary School
"The students learned about the history of domestication, animal husbandry, and ethical practices in rearing animals. They learned proper care, maintenance, and health and safety related behaviors conducive to positive human-animal interaction. The entire farm was clean and organized. Every animal was docile and child friendly allowing every student up close and personal interactions. Mari would gather children in small units and offer key vocabulary and conceptual insight that would guide the visitors toward seamless interactions. Each child was given hands on opportunities with the animals which was a memorable experience. Because of the science platform and the sensitive integration of environmentally responsible tutoring, the trip to the Green Farm was a gift that celebrates authentic learning beyond the classroom. We look forward to next time ."
