Prep 4 Preschool: Playgroup!

In our warm and stimulating environment, children will learn, play, discover, grown and make friends.
We prepare young learners to flourish in preschool through this introductory separation & classroom acclimation program. Independence, creativity and consideration is nurtured in our growing children.

Entering each day through our doors, the children step into our cozy classroom and get a taste of farm life in an urban neighborhood while building confidence and learning to socialize.  Here, in this idyllic atmosphere, they discover and learn hands on as we incorporate  color and number recognition into activities like gardening, art and animal care. Under the nurturing care of our staff, we are able to give individual support in small groups. We believe in encouraging different learning styles and interests, and inspire our little ones to be curious, self-motivated and enthusiastic participants in this early learning atmosphere.

Through our unique connection between children and animals, little ones are taught responsibility, compassion and patience. They learn about colors, shapes, letters and different habitats as we work in our flower and vegetable gardens and feed and care for our animal friends.  During art we encourage the expression of feelings and emotions and recognize the importance of art in shaping and growing children's minds.

In an eco-friendly space, we teach the importance of saving energy, recycling and composting, and we introduce healthy eating habits in our country kitchen. They also learn that typical "trash" can become incredible art pieces.
