Spend your Saturday morning with your family, feeding our farm animals with a basket full of hay and goodies.

Hours: 10:00 a.m. - Noon

$15 admission to receive a feeding basket for the animals OR

a pony ride
$25/child for a feeding basket for the animals & a pony ride
$5/adult

RIDING LESSONS

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

$80/30 minute lesson

$125/1 hour lesson

 

*Lessons must be booked prior to weekend

 

About our Instructor

Danielle Barrett, Animal Educator and Riding Instructor

Danielle has over 20 years of riding and horsemanship experience. As a child, she learned to ride and care for horses on her auntʼs farm and went on to work and show with several other riding facilities in the Hamptons. She spent many years both teaching children to ride and helping to train young and rescued horses so that they could find homes. She worked with several trainers, farriers and veterinarians over the years as she loved learning about animal health, behavior and training. She has also volunteered a great deal of time to horse and other animal rescue organizations. Danielle has been an animal educator and riding instructor at the Art Farm and the Green School for several years. She enjoys teaching children how to handle and communicate with horses and other animals safely, compassionately and effectively and loves to see the bonds that develop between them.
